Last week we the pleasure of providing festival security services for the British Juggling Festival 2017 which was held at the Harvey Hadden Sports Village in Nottingham this year.
The British Juggling Convention is a highly-anticipated event for many people in and around the Nottinghamshire area and generally attracts up to 1000 visitors each year. Our job was to keep everybody safe at the event and make sure that everything goes to plan while being on-hand to help out with any issues that may arise. Our friendly security team did everything to make sure that everybody was safe and enjoyed themselves and it certainly seemed like they did.
It was a great turn-out this year, with lots of goings-on throughout the day and some very talented performers showing us how it’s done and demonstrating their skills.
Here is a little summary of the event, provided from their website:
“Get ready for another fun-filled week of juggling, spinning, hooping, workshops, shows, games and more! The British Juggling Convention, also known as BJC, is one of the four largest juggling conventions in the world. Attendance can vary, but in recent years BJCs have attracted between 700 – 1,000 people. The event is for all forms of juggling and object manipulation, plus many other circus skills. The BJC usually features many workshops during the day, shows in the evenings, and a public show on the Sunday”
Our team very much enjoyed working at this colourful festival and look forward to working with the British Juggling Convention in the future! The crowd were a pleasure and it was fantastic to be part of one of the world’s biggest juggling conventions.
Trident Security would like to say a big THANK YOU to the Harvey Hadden Sports Village and The British Juggling Convention for having and using our service. We are looking forward to working with you in the future and attending future juggling conventions.
